"Thanks so much for the great color recommendations for our home! I've mentioned your name to some of my neighbors who are looking to make changes. Thank you too for remembering to send us your newsletters. We get great ideas from them!"
-- Ann T., East Windsor

This new sunroom addition was in the blueprint stages when we first met, and now this family of four lives in this room year-round. Wouldn't you want to?

All the upholstered pieces were custom-ordered and coordinated with the soft floral valance that is hung on three walls.

The client had ordered her dark rattan furniture and wanted me to help her pull it together with the window treatments.

In order to maintain the tropical theme, we knew that woven woods would be a perfect application to filter direct sunlight from the room. They are not private, however, but that was not an issue since their backyard abuts a golf course.

We used a heavy slub linen on the long draperies and accented with gooseneck swags in a chocolate silk, and then trimmed the swags with wooden beads. These are hanging from a 2" thick iron bronze bamboo rod with hammered finials.

Sunroom

The new look for this sunroom began with Benjamin Moore "Peach Blossom" on the walls. I found the wonderful peach/green floral fabric, which the client fell in love with for her windows. I then shopped for the client locally, pre-selected furniture and fabrics, and all the colors came together. The white background in the fabric is a fresh crisp contrast with the wall color.
