This small extra bedroom needed to do double-duty. It had to serve as a home office for this professional, and double up as a guest space.

A desk armoire was the solution, as it was perfect for files and storage and could close up when guests are in town. The futon could be opened for sleeping when needed.

 

 

 

 

 

This gentleman works from home, so the roman shades are used every day.

When the sun shines in from the western sky over the lake, the shades provide much needed protection from the glare.

 

 

 

 

 

I coordinated all the fabrics, carpet, wall color and textures, wood blinds and valances for this company. This was a newly renovated space that the company had taken over next door to their offices. They are receiving many compliments on the color scheme, and they are so pleased with their surroundings.

 

 

 

The walls are a rich wine wallpaper with splashes of gold strokes scattered throughout. The open swags and jabots are in gold damask and are mounted on decorative rods.

The roman shades provide softness yet privacy for the evening. I helped them obtain the new office furniture from a major manufacturer.
